The actual Movie Production completes every screenwriter's dream.
Movie Production means financing is in place and time to make some magic. Well at least that is what all screenwriters, producers, and directors hope.
Remember back in the Movie Financing section where I said, "Hold that thought?" I was saying that about a low budget movie or quite frankly any movie. If you or anyone is willing to do the hard work, then why shouldn't your script be produced?

The advent new video technology, running all the way from cameras to video projection, has greatly enhanced the opportunities for your script getting produced.
Now that doesn't mean you will get your script produced. It also doesn't mean that if produced, it will turn out exactly as you dreamed, but from my personal experience, what a hell of a ride.
Within this section, I am going to deal with four parts of the production process; Pre-Financing, Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production. Please keep in mind, I am mainly talking about the independent low budget or ultra low budget production.
Again, do more research. By budget alone see what defines a Major Studio, Mini Major, or Independent low budget production. Determine the odds for producing your movie and then getting theatrical distribution.
Then go further by finding the odds of producing your movie but only getting non-theatrical distribution. Two completely different scenarios. Another statistic I wish was available is the number of productions with a complete presentation book but couldn't secure financing.
So hang on. It's Movie Production time. Oh, and I will probably throw in a couple more times you just might want to, "Run Screaming from the Room!"
