Marketable Attachments can finalize financing.

Attachments can be the glue that puts a production package over the top and into production, but what is it? Generally, it's anything that increases the value of your production package or presentation book, which I will explain later.

Put together correctly, they can increase the production value in many ways. It can be done through location approval, cast and crew, or a distribution deal which might include pre-selling of some territories.

However, the greatest way to increase your production's value is by securing a known marketable talent. This alone can get you a distribution deal. Now, I didn't say it was easy. First you have to find a way to get your package to the talent or his agent. Yep, right back to contacts.

Just like any other industry, people want to work with people they know, people they like and trust. So with a good script and the right contacts you just may realize your dream.

Finally, please never forget your attachment(s) or the lack thereof can define your production. Is it a studio film? Independent filmmaking? Guerilla filmmaking? Your main goal, make sure it's defined as...good filmmaking!
