SCREENWRITING TO MOVIE PRODUCTION

Screenwriting started my journey into movie production.

Over the past thirty five plus years I have worked my dream all the way from Screenwriting to Producing, Directing and yes even Acting. Hopefully, I'm not done yet.

Although I attended many Movie Industry seminars on Writing, Story Structure, Independent Production, Financing and even Distribution, my primary education in the Movie Industry is real life.

There have been many ups and downs throughout the years, but I believe my experiences have provided me an unique prospective; one which runs from the initial story concept through Production and Distribution.

I am sure there were many, and how I wish I met those before me, who shared my same dream, who wanted more than simply typing FADE IN and FADE OUT. Those who wanted to be a part of putting their story on the screen whether theatrical or non-theatrical.

Minus the normal industry hype, this website is all about sharing my real life experiences. However, I must warn you that being a former St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer my words may prove a bit direct. I don't pull punches. I'm not politically correct.

I hope my experiences in the Movie Industry which range from Screenwriting through Production and Distribution can help someone; keep them from making the same COSTLY mistakes...mistakes of time, energy and MONEY!
